About Zoomin’ About
Damn Cheek are very excited to be working with a new generation of young playwrights!
Six writers aged between 8 and 15 are currently taking part in a series of online writing workshops, supported by professional writer-dramaturgs Kate Adams, Brad Cole, Willie Elliott, Claire Lichie and Roman Stefanski.
The result? 6 new short plays taking place on Zoom on Sunday 28 March at 6.30pm.
The plays will be directed by Artistic Director Darren Cheek and will be performed by members of the Damn Cheek Company, alongside our Associate Artists and other equally familiar faces.
So our young playwrights not only have the experience of working alongside a professional writer–dramaturg. They also get to see their art performed by a professional ensemble in a ‘staged’ Zoom production!
